2011 Ventures Show Winners!

The 34th Annual Ventures Show had a wonderful exhibition with many of the area's impressive artists!

Alan McLuckie's "Vigil" (left) won Best of Show, the Guild's own Curtis Rose (right) with his "True Love Grows" sculpture & Andrea Bojrab (bottom) with her "The Last Pass" oil painting took first place in both the 3-D and Oil & Acrylic categories!

Congratulations to everyone selected to participate in this year's show!

Jerry Smith Oil Painting Workshop

The Allen County Public Library, in conjunction with the 34th Ventures in Creativity Show, is pleased to announce a workshop with the show’s judge, Jerry Smith. Mr. Smith has been a full-time artist since the mid-1970’s; painting in oil, watercolor and acrylic. Workshop dates: Wednesday, June 29th - Friday July 1st, 2011
Times: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Location: Jeffrey Krull Gallery, Allen County Public Library (art work removed)
Cost: $100 (for the 3 days; thanks to the financial support of the Library!)
